Possible Solution |
| Unit won't power up |
- Possible dead wall outlet, check outlet with another device
- Possible blown fuse. Replace fuse if applicable
- Possible dead battery. If unit is battery powered, a dead battery will keep it from powering up.
Charge battery for at least 12 hours and try again. Unit charged for at least 12 hours and won't hold a

| Wandering base line |
- Possible bad electrode or poor electrode contacts check or replace electrodes
- Possible unequal amount of electrolyte material on each electrode if applicable
- Possible skin condition or oily skin, excessive perfume or baby powder. Have patient clean upper chest
- Possible excessive hair causing poor electrode contact, shave electrode location
- Possible heavy or very rapid breathing. Engage machine filters
- Possible dirty connection between patient cable and electrode clips. Remove all clips clean and replace

| Severe A.C. interference |
- Possible bad ground in wall outlet or on machine, if unit is battery operated then use battery power.
Ground machine using ground stud on back of machine, connect to metal that is already grounded such as
water pipe etc.
- Possible heavy equipment on same line. Try plugging unit in somewhere else or turn off any other device
such as centrifuge or electro surgery unit etc. Patient cable should be arranged to follow body
contours

| Light low amplitude interference |
- Possible muscle tremor caused by nervous patient or cold patient or inaduquate patient support. Correct
patient problems as needed or engage A.C Filters and muscle filters if available
- Possible broken patient cable. Call Precise Biomedical for immediate replacement: 866-772-6011
- Possible flourescent light or wiring interference. Engage machine filters
