Problem Possible Solution
Unit won't power up
  • Replace batteries in unit and try again
Unit is innacurate or won't take measurement at all
  • If you have more than one of the same style thermometer, change the probe out with another unit. If this corrects the problem, call Precise for a new probe

  • Unit will have a reset switch which is activated when the probe is placed back into its holder. Make sure switch is activated when probe is placed in its holder

  • Make sure correct probe covers are being used
