- Expired Controls, Check Exp. Date
- Expired Reagents: check expiration date.
- Possible Dilutor problem: Check dilutor with pipette for proper dilutor values.
- Possible contaminated tubing or aperture: Bleach or decontaminate machine with manufacturers suggested cleaning agent. Allow sufficient decontamination time.
- Controls not at room temperature or not mixed properly at time of dilution: Retry controls after 20 minutes at room temperature.
- Possible calibration problem: Recalibrate machine with clinical calibrator
