| Unit won't start |
- Safety switch on lid not actuating, check for bent switch
- Wall outlet is dead, check wall outlet with another device like a lamp or fan etc.
- Check for blown fuse on centrifuge if applicable.
- Possible timer problem/ If mechanical, lubricate with spray lubricant or contact cleaner.

| Unit vibrates excessively |
- Unit is unbalanced, balance load with a counter weight opposite the tube being processed. If tube is already in place it should have equal weight to the tube being processed; add water to counter-balance as needed.
- Possible feet missing from bottom of unit; check and replace as needed.
- Unit being operated on unleveled surface. Relocate unit to level surface.

| Unit is very noisy |
- Possible foreign body under rotor head. Empty unit and invert until foreign body is freed.
- Possible bearings or brushes bad.
